A beer. A pandemic. An album. No budget.
This is some early student work that Mathias and Motahar did together before Manatee Creative was even a thing.
One of our first unofficial assignments was redesigning pandemic communication posters for Folkhälsomyndigheten. We leaned into summer vibes and dry humour, because we figured sunburns were easier to laugh at than social distancing.
Then came our fictive collaboration between BrewDog and an unnamed musician: a purple, loud, slightly pretentious beer inspired by a music album no one asked for. The tagline? “A beer. An album. No bullshit.” Because sometimes you just have to commit to the bit.
And finally, a concept for an album cover for a made-up label called Lost People. A visual identity built around what it means to feel out of place: masked up, stripped down, staring into the void of The Human Nature.
